About the Role
As a Panel Beater with MET Skills member of the team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end structural and mechanical integrity of our repairs. This is a multi-skilled role where precision is the priority. Your duties will include:
- Structural Repair: Performing high-quality metalwork, from minor dent pulls to major panel replacements and jig work.
- MET Skills: Handling all Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim aspects—stripping and refitting vehicles with absolute care and ensuring all systems are correctly calibrated.
- Workshop Pride: Maintaining a "clean floor" policy in your bay. You will be responsible for keeping your work area tidy, looking after your equipment, and ensuring the shop remains a professional environment for both colleagues and visiting clients.
- Reputation Management: Working closely with the Body Shop Manager to ensure all repairs are completed within timescales and to manufacturer-approved repair practices.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhering to all Health & Safety and COSHH regulations, ensuring the workspace is safe for yourself and the rest of the team.
Requirements
Experience: Proven industry experience in both Panel Repair and MET (Mechanical, Electrical, Trim) within a professional bodyshop environment.
Qualifications: Ideally Level 3 NVQ/ATA or equivalent in Body Repair or MET.
Work Ethic: A highly motivated individual with a "right first time" mentality and a commitment to maintaining elite repair standards.
Standards: Someone who naturally takes pride in their workspace. You must be willing to help maintain our "Showroom Standard" workshop, ensuring it remains clean and orderly at all times.
Team Player: A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively to build a fantastic workplace culture as we grow.
